Live Hack Night Workshop on Exploitation

This Tuesday, July 30 at 6pm, ISIS will be hosting its first ever live Hack Night.

Students attending simply need to go to http://www.livestream.com/private/livevirtuallearning to participate.  The channel will not work until an hour before the Hack Night (5 PM).

The password will be cyber1337 at that time.

To participate in the discussions via telephone, dial 571-392-7703 and enter PIN: 768 195 230 495 then press #.

You can attend on campus in RH 219.


This workshop on Memory Corruption Exploitation will provide an introduction to buffer overflow vulnerabilities and a complete walk-through on exploiting the vulnerability. We will provide two VMs, one with the vulnerable application, and another from which we'll launch our exploit.

Please come prepared with VMware Workstation or VMware Player.
